Self-acceptance will bring you happiness

Happiness comes from self-acceptance and self-love, not from the phrase “I should.”


“Shoulds” come from what society portrays as happiness.


The problem with “should” is that it belongs to someone else. Someone else's form of happiness.


By accepting who you are and loving all parts, you start to walk your path, and your path will always lead you to your form of happiness.


So, do not compare what makes you happy versus what should make you happy. Trust that your soul will guide you there, and if you hear yourself say the words “I should...” pause and then ask yourself this question: will this “should” bring me peace?
