Somewhere In Between Right And Wrong Is Where You Will Find Me

Take a moment to close your eyes, quiet your mind and ask yourself whose expectations am I trying to please? Pay attention to both what shows up and how many, it may alarm you.
Subconsciously or consciously living here on earth and just existing comes with expectations. Whether it be societies, our parents, our friends, our doctors, our counselors, our bosses or co- workers, there is a clear duality happening of what is “right” or what is “wrong”.
What if..
What if we lived in the grey or in between?
What if we let go of everyone's expectations of the “shoulds,” “woulds” or “coulds”
What if we support one another knowing that “right” or “wrong” is subjective?
As a recovering “people pleaser” myself, some of the most empowering and freeing moments of my life have come from living in the in between. It is freeing to hear the expectations and then go your own way.
As the philosopher Rumi so beautifully said, “Somewhere beyond right and wrong, there is a garden. I will meet you there.”
